On the 28th August, Farm Fitness Summer Throwdown is BACK!
After a years hiatus we’re buzzing to bring our team event back to the farm.
Mixed teams of 5 (3 male/ 2 female) will go head to head across 4 signature Farm Fit events, chasing each other down for a shot at the final and to be crowned our 2021 summer throwdown champs! 👑
We’re predicting another epic day with a BBQ, drinks, snacks and prizes for the champs!
We only have spots for 16 teams, so don’t miss out.

In association with Mind Charity and Uttlesford District Council, Farm Fitness are pleased to announce the launch of our ‘Sunday Social Sessions’
FREE to all farmers and members of the local community, come down and join us for a morning of team-based, outdoor fitness in the glorious Essex countryside.
With the grim realities of the last few years shining a light on growing mental health issues in our communities, we want to offer everyone the opportunity to experience our ‘big three’ when it comes to improving mental health-

2️⃣Physical Activity
3️⃣Social connection
With men 3.5 times more likely to take their own lives, our first male only session aimed at providing an open environment where peer support is encouraged!

Britain’s Fittest Farmer was launched by Farmers Weekly as a fun way of sparking a vital discussion about the physical and mental health of the nation’s farmers. As farming becomes less active and more mechanised and office-based, it’s more important than ever before to make sure Britain’s farmers are getting the exercise that they need to stay fit and healthy.
Farming can also be an isolating job, which is why it is also vital for farmers to focus on their own mental health and wellbeing so that they can keep their business in tip-top condition too.
This competition aims to get all farmers thinking and talking about their health, physical and mental, to make sure they are in top condition to run their farm businesses.
An annual event bringing the full Farm Fitness experience to Great Sampford Primary School, get ready to push, pull, carry, climb and row your hearts out in an epic Adult PE session, walking away fitter, stronger and with a Farm Fitness goodie bag to boot.
Teams of mums come together to compete for the crown in the ultimate adult sports day experience!
No previous experience necessary, all workouts and movements can be scaled to individual abilities and all fitness levels are catered for.

Teams of 5 (3 male/2 female) will go head to head across four signature ‘Farm Games’ events:
• Indoor Strength Zone
• Woodland workout
• Engine workout
• Farm Strong

2023 – DATE TBC
Our sell out individual’s competition ‘Farm Strong’ sees 30 male and female athletes battle it out, through four 60 second max effort blocks, which tests not only your strength but your determination to keep hammering away until the buzzer goes.
With a cash prize, trophies and goodie bags up for grabs, this one fills up FAST so get on it quickly!
This is a tough but accessible novice-level event incorporating classic strongman exercises.
Farm Fitness’ ‘Summer’s End Throw down’ marks the last outdoor, competitive event of the season.
12 mixed teams of 5 (a maximum of 3 men per team) battle it out through heats of our heady mixture of strongman, conditioning and functional training, into a semi-final and finishing with a head to head showdown for a first-place prize.
A BBQ and refreshments are included in the ticket price.
Over 250 runners across 10 kilometres of beautiful countryside track and scenic views… The race is chip timed and run under UKA rules with prizes for top 3 in both genders. All finishers will receive a bespoke medal, event specific technical t-shirt and lots of free goodies.
